Mari was born in Green Bay, raised in the Shawano/Clintonville area. She is married to Darrell and mother of two adult children, with one daughter-in-law. She enjoys her granddaughter, Maddy and walking the grand-dog, Dutch. Mari also likes to workout, travel, play cards and visit all of the Life Groups here at Life Church.
As Executive Pastor, Mari oversees the day to day business of the church, including the budget and human resource needs. For the past 16 years she has been involved in the Ministry of Small Group Formation. She believes that it is vitally important for people to be connected to a Life Group. It’s where people meet other people, have fun, get cared for, and in the process become effective Christ followers, ready to bless others, inside and outside the church.
Mari believes in people. She is someone who will root for the underdog, because she has received the amazing transforming power of Christ in her own life. She believes the local church is the hope of the Gospel. Church is where the family of God gathers. We are taught the truths of God’s Word, learn who we are in Christ, and how to effectively share the gospel with our generation.
