Pastor Ryan is married to Hope and father to four children, Amarissa, Faith, Landon, and Charity. In his free time he loves hangin’ out with Hope and the kids, working out, people, fishing, golf, traveling, reading and movies. Few people know how much he loves chocolate peanut butter ice cream on a 95 degree day or that he is also addicted to classical music film scores! He says it gets his creative juices flowin’.
Ryan was in the Broadcast TV News industry as an on-air Sports Reporter/Anchor for nearly 15 years. He worked in small towns and large towns in Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, which include a 6 year stint at WBAY-TV Green Bay, from 1999-2005. He says, “It was during that time, Jesus invaded my heart and wrecked me for His cause, as a Christian, not a Pastor.” In 2005 he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he was Sports Reporter for Channel 5 the ABC affiliate. Early in 2009, Ryan and Hope, responded to the call of God, left their home and job in Minnesota and came back to Green Bay to start Life Church. Ps. Ryan says, “ We know God is starting an incredible movement in this region. We are glad He called us to be a part of it with you!”
Pastor Ryan believes that God wants to visit our Region with a resurgence of His Power. He sees a movement of His Spirit, through His people, that advances His agenda, of touching people right where they live. Right here. Right now. It’s an infectious belief that Jesus Christ can heal our land, our bodies, our relationships and our hearts. Pastor Ryan believes that each and everyday, God wants to reveal himself to us in fresh, real and powerful ways!
